My oldest son now owns a cell phone, given to him for Christmas by his dad.

No...but it makes your son WAY too young to have a cell phone (at least in my opinion)...but who am I to judge??? I don't know anything these days....
I'm so uncool/traditional/old-school...maybe that's why I moved to TimBukTu, Indiana :)
